AS THE sun shone the children of Wallisdean Infant School were singing and dancing at their annual summer fete.

The fete was organised by the Parent and Teacher Association at the school in Fareham.

Visitors enjoyed games, refreshments, cake stalls and performances from each year group at the fete on Saturday.

Sarah Hannan, admin officer at the school, said: ‘It was brilliant, it was successful. It was well attended by our wonderful parents.

‘The weather was good which was a miracle.

‘It’s a good community event. It raises money for the school funds.

‘The children loved it. It’s something that they look forward to, they plan for it.’
