PEOPLE are invited to walk and raise funds for an end-of-year party for students who gained exam qualifications despite struggling at school.

The event run by TMSS – a group that helps youngsters not in school gain GCSEs and other qualifications – starts at 1pm on Monday. The route goes from the Eastney swimming pool to Southsea funfair and anyone wishing to take part should turn up on the day.

Debby Couzens, of TMSS, said: ‘We want to celebrate the achievements of our students.’
