FROM an army of ants to a lonely wolf, there was never a dull moment in this great production based on Aesop’s Fables.
Sprinkled with morals from start to finish and with enough laughs to keep you chuckling for hours afterwards, more than 60 children of Year 5 at Clanfield Junior School put on a masterful performance.
The songs were catchy, from the chanting of the ants, to the rap of the bees and the dance of the grasshopper.
The message through word and song was clear: Don’t be too proud, too conceited, too greedy or too mean to help those around you. You never know when you might need their help or friendship.
Mark Pickering, headteacher, said: ‘Not only are there some great morals in the production, they’ve done themselves and school proud with their singing and dancing.’
