AMATEUR and semi-professional sportspeople are invited to learn how they can use services that supported our Olympians at a new clinic run by the University of Chichester.

The Sport Performance and Rehabilitation Unit draws on expertise within the Sport and Exercise Sciences department at the university.

Olympic medalist and former student Saskia Clark, senior lecturer Dr Tim Holder and Biz Price, performance director for GB synchronised swimming, will talk at a free event on Wednesday.

They will reflect on this summer’s Games and will talk about how the services used by the Olympians can also be accessed by sports clubs in the region to improve their own performance or to aid athletes to recover from injury.

It will be held at the Bishop Otter Campus of the University in College Lane, Chichester, from 6.30pm. Email spru@chi.ac.uk or visit chi.ac.uk/spru.
