THESE green-fingered volunteers have breathed new life into a school’s garden.

Volunteers from the Waitrose in Gosport went to Brune Park Community School, in Military Road, Gosport, for a day of work.

Each helped spruce up the school’s science garden.

It will be used to help teach pupils during lessons and will be used in the school’s science and eco clubs.

Brainy pupil Elliott Beeby designed the garden.

The 15-year-old chairman of the eco club worked with staff from the store and school on the day of work last month.

Flowers will soon be on the way with the garden ready for planting in September.

Staff at Brune Park said thank you to the store’s staff and said their hard work will benefit all pupils.
