‘We revised together, which helped a lot,’ Charley said.

‘I am really happy with our results.

‘I am pleasantly surprised about what I got.’

Eighty-two per cent of students achieved five A*-C.

The gold standard pass rate including English and Maths was 67 per cent, which was only one per cent down from last year.

Headteacher Steven Labedz said: ‘It’s our second best ever results.

‘The students have worked really hard and we are really pleased.’
