CHILDREN are encouraged to sign up and take part in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge with the theme this year being record breakers.

It runs from today and continues throughout the summer holidays and encourages youngsters aged between four and 11 to read six books during the holidays. Each time they finish one, they get stickers and rewards and everyone who successfully completes the challenge will get a certificate and medal.
