Have your say

STUDENTS were encouraged to find their voices and share their thoughts at a conference day.

Brune Park School held an Inter-Schools conference event with primary schools in the Gosport area.

Students have fed back positively about the day and have said they would like to move the project forward by running more student-led debates

Fern Bicheno

The event brought together student councils from Gosport schools to train students in sharing their opinions effectively and participating confidently in a debate.

The theme for the day was the regeneration of the Gosport waterfront.

Student Voice co-ordinator Fern Bicheno said: ‘We felt it would be a
topic that would interest all age ranges and give them the opportunity to have
a say on what they believe should
happen to the future of their
community.
