YOUNGSTERS can have a go at making gruesome grub at the latest event at a submarine museum.
Families can dress up as cockroaches and find out about the unpleasant food submariners had to eat at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Haslar Road, Gosport.
There will also be a head-to-head cook off between professional chef Sarah Clements and Gosport chef Kevin Meacham from the Anglesey Hotel in Alverstoke.
Youngsters can then decorate cup cakes and make nasty pasties.
It runs on Thursday from 11am to 3pm.
Entry to a Gruesome Grub event is free with a valid museum ticket and is part of the current Horrible Science of Submarines exhibition.
The exhibition is open every day throughout the half term holidays.
