SPOOKY ship storytelling, treasure hunts and boat races are some of the activities in store for children who visit the Historic Dockyard during half term.

The line-up of events, which run from this Saturday until Sunday, June 5, include the chance to explore real gold coins from the Mary Rose and then make your own.

Adventurous youngsters can also make, test and compete in their own paddlewheel boat.

There are opportunities for maritime-themed photos for the whole family, as well as investigating a maritime bus with workshops covering topics from shipwrecks to ditched military aircraft.
