A SCHOOL has won a healthy eating competition.

Warren Park Primary School, in Havant, beat more than 400 other schools in the Berries for Breakfast competition.

To win £350 worth of Asda vouchers, the school’s breakfast club ate breakfasts made out of berries for one day.

The competition was run by Seasonal Berries which represents British berry growers.

Schools had to demonstrate what sort of healthy breakfasts could be made from berries and Warren Park’s ideas won.

Berries for Breakfast was created following a survey which showed a third of British children had never eaten a blueberry and less than 20 per cent have eaten a raspberry and one in four had never eaten a blackberry.
