ALMOST 400 pupils took part in a flashmob performance in front of their parents at school.
Barncroft Primary in Havant decided to take part in Macmillan Cancer Care’s Dress up and Dance event yesterday.
The children turned up in non-uniform and made a donation to the charity, before pupils and staff took to the field to dance to I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas.
PE teacher Leela Mengham said: ‘We have never done something like this before.
‘Cancer charities are close to a lot of people’s hearts.
‘They have been so excited. They’ve been practising at home and at play times.
‘It went well. They have loved every minute of it.
‘A couple of them were a bit awestruck but the majority have loved every part of it.’
