A COLLEGE has won an award for its commitment to health and safety.

South Downs College, in Waterlooville, has been recognised by the British Safety Council in its International Safety Award scheme.

It is the 19th year the college has been honoured. It is the only college to gain a distinction this year.

College secretary John Manterfield said: ‘I am very pleased that the college has been successful yet again.’
