MORE than 20 groups promoting health will visit a further education college in Portsmouth next week to ensure their students stay fit.

The event at Highbury College, to tie in with Health and Wellbeing Week, will include stress reduction workshops from the National Council for Hypnotherapy, fitness sessions from Portsmouth FC trainer Paul Allen and Hampshire Police advising how to stay safe on the streets.

Student welfare co-ordinator Angela Kountouroudas said: ‘We want our students and staff to take a pro-active approach to their own wellbeing in every aspect of their life.

‘There will be a wealth of ideas and resources to inspire positive change and choices. Good physical and mental health sets the stage for a fulfilled future.

‘This week is part of our mission to help our students succeed.’
