STUDENTS are showcasing their creative talent to parents and local school children to win a place on a master class hosted by industry experts.

Students from Highbury College’s Fashion, Performing Arts, Music, Art and Media departments will be presenting their work to visiting school children and parents.

Two students from each department will be selected by a panel of judges to attend a creative industry masterclass at The Backstage Centre – a multi-million pound production training venue for theatre, music and live events.

Emma Patchett, learning manager of the Creative Academy at the college said: ‘It is building a buzz around the college as students from different areas of the Creative Academy are working on the same project and bouncing ideas off one another.

‘They also have a great incentive to perform as the most creative students will visit an amazing venue and learn from professionals working at the highest levels.’
