PARENTS campaigning for new play equipment are holding a cake sale.

Mum and dads in Warren Park are aiming to raise up to £85,000 for play areas for young children and teenagers.

The event is at Warren Park Primary School, Sandleford Road, today, from 3.15pm to 4.15pm.

There will also be a company there which buys clothes by the ton and all the money raised will go to the campaign.

Anyone who has any unwanted clothes is asked to take them along to donate at the event.

Hampshire Councillor Liz Fairhurst has also donated £1,000 to the appeal.
