CHILDREN had the chance to buy Christmas presents for their family at a unique fair at their school.
Horndean Junior School hosts the shopping fair every year.
It gives pupils the chance to buy presents for their family and take them home and wrap them up themselves.
Dionne Hibbs is the chair of the Parent and Teacher Association at the school who organised the event.
The members of the PTA bought gifts throughout the year for a small price and then sold them on to the children for no more than £1.50 each.
She said: ‘It’s a secret way for them to buy for their parents but in a safe way. The children love it.
‘They look forward to it every year.
‘It’s nice for them to have that bit of independence and they can do that stuff without their parents.’
