How to Train Your Dragon author signing copies of new book on visit to Portsmouth

THE author of one of the most-loved children's books is visiting schools across Portsmouth.

Hayling Island Bookshop has organised the event with Cressida Cowell, author of How to Train Your Dragon.

The latest instalment in the multimillion-selling series, How to Fight a Dragon’s Fury, is released next month.

Cressida will visit Solent Junior and Court Lane Junior schools in events arranged in conjunction with Portsmouth School Library Service.

Although fans will not be able to meet Cressida unless they are pupils at the schools, Hayling Island Bookshop customers can call the bookshop and pre-book copies of How to Fight a Dragon’s Fury, which the store will arrange to have signed and dedicated by Cressida while she is in Portsmouth.

Customers will be able to collect their signed books from the bookshop, in Mengham.

They will be supplied with an A3 poster and How To Train Your Dragon badge, while stocks last.
