TOTS got musical and joined in with song and dance at a rhyming group.

Those who attended Rhymetime in Gosport Discovery Centre enjoyed singing well known nursery rhymes and taking part in actions with family members and friends.

The sessions are aimed a those under the age of five and are relaxed and informal.

Debbie Haines, children’s team member at the centre who helps run the group, said: ‘It’s great fun for the children and the repetitive rhyme really helps their learning and development.

‘It’s a good way for parents or grandparents to interact with their child and the children enjoy spending that time together with them. They get really involved it and love the actions that go with the songs.’

The groups meet every Tuesday from 10am to 10.30am and Thursday from 2pm to 2.30pm. They are free and there is no need to book. Call (023) 9252 3463.
