Dance section organiser Wendy Lane said: ‘The festival is brilliant. People can come and watch some amazing performances for a small fee.’

‘The children taking part gain a lot of confidence from it and make some new friends and a lot of them eventually go on to stage school.

‘We have some good help, all the volunteers are brilliant and there is a lovely atmosphere.’

Wendy directed special praise towards Samuel Wright and Joseph Head who were the standout performers of the weekend.
