THE hard work of almost three decades will see Peter Brown once again heading to Buckingham Palace to pick up an honour.
Mr Brown, former director of international operations at Chichester College, will receive an MBE for services to further education.
He was last at the palace as part of a delegation to collect one of the Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education in 2006.
Chichester College won the award ‘for developing the college and its community through international student intake and integration’, and he played a big part in that development.
He stepped down from his role this year after 27 years of service, but will be remembered at the college for his part in transforming it into one which welcomes encourages international students to study there.
