THE University of Chichester Chamber Choir is teaming up with Chichester Chorale and The Gala Festival Orchestra to perform Joseph Haydn’s The Creation next month.

The event at Arundel Cathedral on April 21 will mark the first time the annual concert has travelled from its Chichester Cathedral home.

Director of choral studies Arthur Robson said: ‘We are all excited to perform in this special venue – it’s a wonderful setting for performing major choral works.

‘The cathedral is a glorious, lofty building and has a wonderfully rounded acoustic.

‘We are hopeful the change of location will allow us to branch out to a new audience.’

Tickets can be booked in advance for £10, £8 and £5 from the Chichester Festival Theatre Box Office on 01243 781 312 or online at cft.org.uk.
