THE headteacher of an infants school has been given the highest praise by an Ofsted inspector.

Gary Nicholls was called ‘inspirational’ following an inspection at the end of March which rewarded Brockhurst Infants in Gosport with a ‘good’ grade.

Inspector Janet Sinclair said: ‘Brockhurst is led by an inspirational headteacher who works tirelessly for the benefit of the pupils. He has a clear vision for the school, shared by all staff and the governing body, which puts pupils and their families at the heart of all the school does.’

Mr Nicholls added: ‘All we are trying to do is help our parents educate their children to become helpful citizens and eager learners with a big dollop of fun thrown in.’
