THESE talented students have created an award-winning short film that will be shown across Olympic venues later this year.

Life With Two Sugars, directed, produced and acted by a team from St Vincent College in Gosport and the City Eye arts complex in Southampton wowed judges of the Film Nation Shorts competition.

It won best film in February and has now been put through to the grand finals at London’s British Film Institute on July 4.

Set against a simple musical backdrop, the film traces the journey of a girl grieving the loss of a loved one – and ends with a clever combination of her place of work and the Olympics.

Di Lloyd, principal, said ‘We’re really excited that not only will the film be shown across the UK, but that we’re in with a chance of winning an award and meeting filmmakers at the awards ceremony. The students are a real credit to the college.’
