MORE than 100 musical Petersfield students performed a range of classic favourites at a church in London.
Bedales School’s chamber singers and orchestra played in front of an audience at St Luke’s in Chelsea with works by Schubert, Holst, Montiverdi, Mozart and more before rounding off with extracts from Brahms’ German Requiem.
Headmaster Keith Budge said: ‘I’m grateful for the opportunity for our musicians to perform at St Luke’s, which provided such a wonderful setting.
‘Director of music Nick Gleed’s young men and women give us a wonderful evening.
‘It was quite something to move the whole event to London, adapt to a different acoustic and produce a concert of this ambition and quality.’
