The event, held at Portsmouth Guildhall attracted a large audience and was supported by Pauline Quirk Academy, Ansvar Insurance and the Association of Chief Police Officers Criminal Records Office.

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Councillor David Fuller, who presented the first place prize, said: “It was absolutely marvellous this evening, I had the pleasure of coming last year and the standard was very high and this year very very high indeed and I couldn’t have picked the best one to be honest with you.”

Second place was awarded by Lady Mayoress of Portsmouth Mrs Leza Tremorin who said:

“ I thought it was absolutely brilliant, obviously being in the audience this evening was fantastic. I thought the standard was so high and I had a wonderful night’s entertainment. Truly fantastic!”
