PIRATES and monsters put away their swords and claws to run around Emsworth Recreation Ground for Comic Relief.

More than 100 children from St James’ Primary School dressed to impress for the sponsored event which has already raised £700.

Rob Gallop, Key Stage Two teacher, said: ‘Considering we’ve only collected about a quarter of the sponsorships we’ll have a terrific amount to give to charity - it’s fantastic.’
