Portchester primary school evacuated after police incident

Pupils and teachers were asked to leave their classrooms shortly after 9.30am and wait outside while the incident was dealt with.

Police officers were called to the scene, but have now left.

The staff and children have since been allowed back into the school, and lessons have returned to normal.
