A BRAIN tumour research charity is aiming to collect 100,000 signatures on a petition calling for better government funding for research.

Professor Geoff Pilkington, from the University of Portsmouth, leads the country’s first centre of excellence in research into brain tumours.

His group investigates tumour cell invasion into healthy brain tissue, effective drug delivery and personalised medicine.
