PORTSMOUTH University has come 34th out of 113 in a poll to find the best university – as voted by students.

The Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey asked more than 13,000 undergraduates to rate their university on 21 factors, from the quality of teaching to the campus social life.

Portsmouth’s rating is better than last year, when it came 50th. Chichester University came 48th this year.

Loughborough was top, and the University of Westminster bottom.
