Record-breaker visits Horndean school

PARALYMPIAN David Weir was quizzed at a question-and-answer session at Horndean School.

World record holder Mr Weir CBE and coach Jenny Archer were at Barton Hall on Saturday.

The pair run the Weir Archer Academy, which provides athlete and coaching support and expertise across for people of all levels and abilities.

The day was organised by City of Portsmouth Athletics Club member Lee Jones who is a volunteer at the Weir Archer Academy for young people to find out more.

Mr Weir boasts four world records, six gold, two silver and two bronze Paralympic medals among his catalogue of achievements.
