A SCHOOL in Waterlooville has employed a new sports co-ordinator who will not only organise activities for students to get fit – but also for residents of all ages and abilities in the community.

Caroline Whiffin, who was appointed in March, has been organising a variety of different sessions at Horndean Technology College, including weekly Zumba, over 55s gym, body conditioning and spinning classes at affordable rates.

She has also set up a brand new summer tennis scheme running throughout the week and school holidays that will allow unlimited play with a £15 membership card.

Caroline said: ‘My main objective has been to establish a range of fun classes that are accessible to all.

‘We have ensured they are also as reasonably priced as possible as know that in the current climate, people have been cutting back, and don’t have large disposable incomes.

‘We want people to still be able to exercise, enjoy it and meet new people!’
