TALENTED children from two Fareham schools collaborated on a stunning musical production of Roald Dahl’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarves – which they prepared in just two days.

Youngsters from Wykeham House and Uplands Primary stunned an audience with their excellent performances – as well as props and costumes which they made themselves.

Wykeham House pupil Nina Watson, 11, who played the queen, said: ‘I really enjoyed acting the part – it was good fun shouting at everyone.

‘It was hard work learning the part in such a short amount of time but it was made easier because it is rhyming and I really enjoy Roald Dahl.’

Derek Jones, Wykeham’s director of music, said: ‘The children have worked so hard and have done so well.’
