DELICIOUS Christmas cakes and puddings were whipped up by students to raise money for The Rowans Hospice.
Catering students at South Downs College in Waterlooville decided to give a helping hand to the Purbrook hospice after a visit there last month.
Student Keleigh Berry said: ‘We made lots of cakes to sell as we knew that they would look good and hopefully attract people to the stall. We also had a raffle where people could win a Christmas cake or Christmas pudding.’
Student Tyler Smith added: ‘Each year they need to raise £4.2m so we thought that we would help them by holding a cake sale.’
The young people’s efforts raised £150.
