A SCHOOL fair is being held to fund a trip to Iceland next year.

Pupils and their families from Priory School, in Southsea, have been holding events to fund the trip of a lifetime.

This family fun day is designed to bring the school community together behind these fantastic young people.’

Next weekend, the school is holding its Midsummer Fun Day.

Assistant headteacher Lorrie Hart said: ‘The pupils have worked incredibly hard and have raised lots of the money needed already through sponsored events such as a 25-mile cycle ride and making and selling cakes at school.

‘This family fun day is designed to bring the school community together behind these fantastic young people.’

The fair will have stalls and items for sale as well as bouncy castles, visits from Anna and Elsa from Frozen, as well as Spiderman, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

As it is Father’s Day a free prize draw will be held for all dads who are at the event with the price a £100 paintball voucher.

The fair is on June 21 from 10am until 3pm.
