STUDENTS showcased their talents at an annual hair and beauty competition.

Striking designs from Fareham College students took to the stage at Ferneham Hall, in Fareham, on Thursday night.

For two months, students have been competing in heats at the college to win the chance to display their creations at the event.

Winners were decided by a panel of industry experts including hairdressers and therapists from commercial salons and leading companies.

Lecturer Lindsey Smith said: ‘The entrants’ work was of an extremely high standard the showcases were excellent. The students loved taking part.

Vicky Morrall, head of hairdressing and beauty therapy, said: ‘This has been the most fantastic showcase of creativity and hard work. I am so proud.’
