ARTISTIC students at The Petersfield School are pictured here with some of the stunning painting and photography pieces that formed an exhibition at the King’s Theatre in Southsea.

The 14 and 15-year-old boys and girls created their artworks for a circus-themed gallery to compliment Zippo’s Circus, which performed at the theatre during the recent half term.

With designs ranging from clowns to acrobats, theatre-goers from across the city enjoyed a very colourful treat.

Aidan Timmons, the school’s head of art, said: ‘Our students have worked extremely hard and produced some stunning pieces for this exhibition.

‘It is a huge honour to be involved with The Kings theatre in this way.

‘We hope to develop the relationship further in future projects.’
