A GROUP of students is holding an autumn bazaar to raise money to set up a school radio station.

Pupils at Admiral Lord Nelson School hope to use the radio station to communicate with other students and to promote local events.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 10 from 10am until 1pm in the school hall in Dundas Lane.

Free stalls are available to anyone who sells handicrafts, jewellery, food, preserves, cakes and more.

Jan Andrews, of the Parent Staff and Student Association, said: ‘This helps our students to work with the local community and see the value of these relationships and how we can all help one another.’

To book a pitch email Jan Andrews at or call (023) 9266 6188.

Any money made will go to the PSSA.
