A GROUP of local entrepreneurs from the enterprise society at Highbury College have been shortlisted to compete in the final of TestTown.

TestTown is Britain’s biggest town centre enterprise challenge, run by Carnegie UK Trust.

The group, known as Modumall is hoping to scoop the £10,000 prize for winning the event with its plan to develop a modular business space model.

Modumall will use shipping containers as a mobile drop-in shopping complex for housing and presenting small test retail businesses.

TestTown is an innovation challenge for young entrepreneurs, aged between 16 and 30 to revitalise Britain’s high streets. Each team has been awarded £1,000 to help develop their initial idea.
