A COLLEGE has formed its very own cadet force.

South Downs College has announced the newly-formed Combined Cadet Force (CCF) Detachment.

It has been introduced to give students across the college the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, self-reliance, resourcefulness, endurance and perseverance.

The CCF is a unique educational partnership that operates in schools and colleges across the UK.

Through enjoyable military-themed and adventurous activities, cadets have the opportunity to take responsibility and develop skills such as leadership, self-reliance, resourcefulness, endurance and perseverance.
