TWO stage schools are setting aside friendly rivalry and teaming up to put on a show.
Pupils from Superstar Stage Schools in Portchester and Southampton have combined to star in a wacky performance full of singing, acting and dancing.
Both schools have performed their own shows but never with other schools.
Teacher Rebecca Turner said the children, all aged from four to 12, are having a great time rehearsing.
She said: ‘The kids are loving it, some of them have never performed on stage so it’s good to see them blossom and enjoy performing arts.
‘At the beginning they were nervous, but after that they gelled and had a great time.
‘Schools combining for things like this is a rarity, it teaches the children to be respectful and be good team workers.’
The schools will perform scenes and songs from a variety of films and musicals, including the popular Frozen, Grease and Romeo & Juliet.
The Superstar Stage School will be performing for the first time on July 20 at Ferneham Hall in Fareham.
