THE rich history of the Solent is taken to schools across the area by a mobile museum and laboratory.

But the only way the Maritime Archaeology Trust can keep its Discovery Bus going is through fundraising, and children are being urged to take part in a swimathon for the trust.

The Swim for Shipwrecks swimathon will take place between now and August and is open to individuals, families, schools and groups.

If you would like to support the campaign or bring the bus to your school go to maritimearchaeologytrust.org.
