SIX former college students cooked up a feast at a major fundraising event.
The talented young men and women – who studied at South Downs College in Waterlooville and have since worked with some of the world’s top chefs – tickled the palates of guests at the third Grand Charity Banquet for Hospitality Action and The Ark Foundation.
In previous years celebrities like Heston Blumenthal worked with students to put on a gala dinner. But this year the college decided to invite back its former students to put on the gastronomic experience.
The event is expected to have raised £15,000.
Mark Flanagan, head chef of the Royal Household, said: ‘It is my first visit to South Downs College and I am really impressed with the facilities.’
