SIX leading experts from the world of publishing and broadcasting will host a free seminar at the University of Chichester on how to get stories published.

A panel of agents, editors and publishers will give tips on how to succeed in the competitive writing industry to students, staff and members of the public at the Bishop Otter Campus on April 25 from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.

Creative writing senior lecturer Karen Stevens, who organised the event, said: ‘This is a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of the publishing industry – and to hear experts pass on the secrets of their trade.

‘In previous years, similar events have proved very useful for many of our students, who have later gone on to sign deals with leading publishing houses.’
