STUDENTS at the University of Portsmouth are making the most of studying abroad according to new figures.

The figures, from the Erasmus UK National Agency, correspond to the 2012/13 academic year, and show that Portsmouth students from subjects including languages, business, architecture and biology, took part in 238 Erasmus study or work placements across Europe.

This places the university in the top 20 UK institutions for the number of outbound students, maintaining its high-ranking position.
