THE UNIVERSITY of Portsmouth’s careers and recruitment website has won first prize at the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services Excellence Awards.

The site, created in March 2011 to provide a one-stop-shop for jobs, beat eight other shortlisted universities to be named ‘best website’ for its good design and high quality content.

Julia Hughes, head of employability, said the site was about ‘placing the student experience at the centre of the university’s strategic plan’.
