STUDENTS from schools across the city have been taking to the stage for the second night of the Portsmouth Schools Music Festival.

Pupils from St Jude’s CoE Primary and City Girls were among those treading the boards.

Infant and Junior School choirs also performed together.

Megan Lindford from Priory School sang Timshel by Mumford and Sons.

Sarah Lewis, who is on the committee and is also a conductor at the festival, said: ‘It’s an amazing opportunity for them to be able to perform on stage at the Guildhall and have a massive audience watching them.’

The festival will continue today at 6.30pm.
