A SCHOOL has transformed an overgrown scrubland into a luscious vegetable plot.

Pupils from Bishop’s Waltham Junior school, on Oak Road, put in the hard work to make the land good enough to plant and grow vegetables.

The school held an opening party on Monday, July 15 to celebrate and recognise the pupil’s good work.

The school now needs to raise funds to maintain the patch. Funding up until now has come from the PTA, which will stop next term.

It has raised over £90 so far.
