PERFORMERS have been flexing their vocal chords at Portsmouth Music Festival.
The vocal section of the festival took place at the weekend with over two full days of activity.
Gwenda Dearsley is the organiser, and said: ‘It went well. We have some excellent adjudication and everything is going as planned.
‘I was particularly pleased with the junior vocal section. It was simply a delight to watch.
‘I think things like this can give the youngsters a good confidence boost.’
Portsmouth Music Festival has been running since 1917, with a brief gap during the Second World War. It covers all ages from six to over-80s.
The choral and brass bands sections take place this weekend.
