STUDENTS at South Downs College have created playing cards to help generate funds and awareness for the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.

The cards have been inspired by equality and diversity, using famous quotes by historical figures such as Malcolm X and Gandhi.

Course manager for graphic communication Paul Parsons said: ‘This has been the strongest year yet and we have all helped in generating over £1,400 for this charity.

‘My first focus for the students is to achieve high grades so that they can build for their future but I love to get these young artists’ work seen by the public through a number of projects and make the students learn real industry design skills through live projects.’

It’s the third year the project has taken place.
